MEDICARE REBATE

Clients with a Mental Health Care Plan receive a rebate of $145.25

($94.75 out of pocket)

Clients pay a standard consultation fee at the completion of their session. Those clients with a Mental Health Care Plan

are then able to claim the Medicare Rebate directly with Medicare. Speak to your GP to find out whether you might be eligible for a Mental Health Care Plan.

Depending on your Private Health Insurance cover you may be eligible for a rebate.

Note: For 2025-26 the Australian Psychological Society has set its recommended schedule of fees for a standard 46-60 minute consultation at $318.
